WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The workshop will be focused on implementation of the NOXand SO2one hour standards. Attending will be state air modeling and permitting staff and some Air Directors. Presentation topics will include the health basis for the standard, implementation of USEPA guidance, modeling of multiple and intermittent sources, combined use of monitoring and modeling, and implications of court rulings. In addition there will be a round table discussion of state issues.

There is NO registration fee for state and local agencies, invited speakers, or others who are not federal employees.
The fee for federal employees is $50.00 for August 26, 2014 and $37.00 for August 27, 2014. Please bring a check to the workshop.

Sleeping rooms will be reserved under MARAMA Training room block. Everyone is responsible for making their own hotel reservations either on-line or through central reservations. When calling their reservations line, reference that you are part of the MARAMA Training room block.

MARAMA SUPPORT AVAILABLE
MARAMA will offer support to cover the cost of room and tax for up to 2 staff per MARAMA member agency. Supported attendees are responsible for all incidentals and travel. Overnight support is not available to those who live within 50 miles of the course location. If additional or alternative support is needed, pre-approval is necessary and a request must come from your agency’s Air Director (or their designee) and emailed to MARAMA’s Executive Director, Susan Wierman (swierman@marama.org), as well as MARAMA’s Training Coordinator, Sue Dilli (sdilli@marama.org), prior to the event. A list of what type of support is needed, an estimate of additional costs, and the reason for the support is essential to include.
