Maryland Clean School Bus Webinar Summary

On July 19, 2022 the Maryland Department of the Environment, the Maryland State Department of Education and the Environmental Protection Agency Mid-Atlantic Regional Office hosted a webinar on the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Clean School Bus program. The webinar was open to school districts who are interested in converting their fleets to electric school buses.

EPA staff shared information on the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Clean School Bus Program, while speakers from Baltimore Gas and Electric explained the resources and technical assistance available to help school districts fund electric school buses replacement projects. Lastly, Montgomery County Public Schools and Frederick County Public Schools presented on their experience operating electric school buses in their fleet.
