MARAMA/ICAC Current Topic in Mercury & Air Quality III – Measurement Technology Webinar

November 21, 2013
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM EDT

This is the third in the MARAMA/ICAC webinar series on Mercury and Air Quality. Electric utilities operating coal-fired power generating units will need to comply with the mercury emission limitations in the Mercury and Air Toxics standards (MATS) rule. This third session will focus on the challenges faced in measuring mercury emissions from sources. The use continuous mercury emissions monitors (CEMS) is one measurement method. The biggest advantage of using mercury CEMS is that real-time measurement allows a feedback loop to control reagent feed.

Presenters for this webinar will include:

  • Jeff Socha, Thermo Fisher Scientific
  • Dan Kietzer, SICK MAIHAK
  • Richard Hovan, Durag Group
