AERMOD for Non-Modelers 2 part series – Webinar Overview:This is part one of a two-part webinar provides an introduction to dispersion modeling using the USEPA reference model, AERMOD.  Students will learn meteorological concepts as well as the mechanics of running AERMOD and the screening model AERSCREEN.  A practical example will be included. Each webinar session will be approximately 2 hours.

Our instructor is Anthony J. Sadar, of the Allegheny County Health Department in Pittsburgh, PA.  Tony has 35 years of experience in air-pollution meteorology and science education.  He holds a B.S. degree in meteorology from The Pennsylvania State University, a M.S. degree in environmental science (air-pollution control) from the University of Cincinnati, and a M.Ed. in science education from the University of Pittsburgh.  In addition, Tony has been designated a Certified Consulting Meteorologist by the American Meteorological Society.
