The purpose of the summit was to provide the State and local agencies belonging to MARAMA with an opportunity to network and share the latest and best information on air toxics. Sessions were offered on mobile source and diesel issues, indoor air, Maximum Achievable Control Technologies, air toxic monitoring and modeling, risk assessment and grant opportunities for 2004 and 2005. In addition, time was set aside for a panel discussion on how best to develop and support an air toxics program in a time of tight resources.
