The Department of Environmental Quality’s, Air Division, Office of Air Data Analysis, is seeking a qualified applicant to develop an enhanced and comprehensive statewide emissions inventory of greenhouse gas pollutants for climate change planning purposes. This position will have the principal staff responsibility for developing documenting, and updating this enhanced inventory. The position will work with DEQ policy and regulatory staff to develop any legislation and regulations needed to implement an enhanced inventory process; develop and periodically update a formal report on the GHG inventory and work with other agencies that may contribute to its development; work with other DEQ staff to develop a forward facing online GHG inventory access portal for public data access, and assist other division and agency staff in climate change planning activities.
